We count requests by type and by the product, brand, topic or idea named, and use the counts to decide what we sell, what the Reading Room writes next, what we add to the Quiet Corner, how we make the site more inclusive and which community projects we explore. Suggesting a brand or an organization does not mean we will contact it or work with it, and we never tell anyone who suggested it. Vendors, and readers of our monthly tally, see only the counts, never your words or your email. We never put your words or your email into AI tools. Shopify, which runs this site, and our email service may store what you send outside your province and outside Canada.
